Great portrait session with recent bride’s daughter at F&M college. Funny story, her mom got married this past year, she saw and loved all the photos, but her only complaint was that there was not enough photos of herself. So mom booked a session just for her. Congrats to Justine and Matt, two amazing people who were determined to hire me. I’m super flattered that they picked me as their wedding photographer. I didn’t know much about them but I knew there was something I really liked about these two. Their friends and family confirmed it on their wedding day. Their description of them were true, two fun loving people with free sprits that were so into each other. Great combination for marriage.

Thanks again Justine and Matt for having me on your special wedding day at Revere Tavern, I had a blast. On a side not, your DJ, Top Hat Entertainment DJs, Roger Cambell was my middle school teacher, great guy and blast from the past. lol

People run late all the time and think nothing of it. And when they miss an awesome group photo, they tend to want to kick themselves. A professional knows that both photos need to be properly lit and the subject posed in the same manner. If you don’t know what this means, check out the video below.

Photographers always ask me how I do what I do and I normally answer, I just do me. Well now I want to share with you my process. Enjoy.

Our Megan is getting married. I remember the day she came into work then showed that Todd put a ring on it. She was super happy, all those days of editing wedding images and talking about other peoples weddings and shooting weddings. Now it’s her turn and I’m lucky enough to be shooting it :)

Do it right the first time. Yes, that is Lisa’s work motto. Lisa is our new intern, she is a junior and a photography major at Millersville University. She is disciplined and detail oriented. She is smart, very smart. We are honored that she is working with us because she has an impressive portfolio and extremely talented. She is committed to making sure our clients’ expectations are met.

Lisa’s loyalty astounds us. After she accepted the intern position, she asked her employer for time off on weekends and she was let go. Yes, we feel terrible about it but we are going to make it up to her and give her the best experience of her career. We see a light in her eyes.

Everyone please help us welcome Lisa to the PhotOlé team.

Lancaster Photography at awesome Musser Park with great couple Bryan and Monica. It looked like rain but the shoot went off without a hitch. Bryan and Monica looked fantastic together, very playful and easy to photograph. I had a great time.

Being a Lancaster Photographer is awesome but teaching photography is just as fun. A few months ago I got a call from Lauren, a student from Manheim Central who asked to job shadow PhotOle Photography. I’m always for helping students out. When I was their age, I had a hard time finding photographers who would share their experience.

Here’s Lauren posing with her camera after a long day of school and post processing. She edited my Flower Show event shoot. Thank You Lauren for the great edits :)
