One of my favorite parts of my job is when I get to tell people on why I love what I do. I was asked to speak at Reynolds Middle School on career day. At first I was like awesome, I can show these kids my wonderful wedding photographs. But then I thought about it, what would make them stop and think. My idea was to photograph their school and show them how I saw it.
I was asked to give a career day speech. The kids kept asking what my favorite song was. I had to tell the hard truth of work – nobody pays me to play my favorite song.

Hey I actually met you and your wife at Cork and Cap a while back- I’m a teacher at Reynolds. We both know Tennison (he took our wedding pics). I’m not sure if you remember me, but either way, I wanted to ask your permission to use some of these pictures in our school yearbook. Or would you be willing to come take some more next week sometime? I have a March 28th deadline, and I would have asked you earlier, but I just happened to come across these today and they are spectacular!
