Lancaster PCA&D : Photography Business and Marketing Class
April 12, 2010I love taking photos but teaching it is just as fun. My friend Matthew Lester teaches a photography course at Pennsylvania College of Art and Design. Today I was asked to come and speak about my journey as a wedding photographer and how I run my business and marketing. I started the class off with a quick slideshow of photos. Then I shared with them my pit falls. Matthew’s class were super attentive and asked intelligent questions. I had an awesome time getting to know each person and I hope they pursue their dream in photography.

March 10, 2010Do you set goals for yourself? Do you have one? Today I just got my issue of Rangefinder and this month’s topic is the Wedding Issue. That’s it, my goal this year is to be the best darn Lancaster wedding photographer. I want to have my name, Sisavath Ole Hongvanthong owner of PhotOle Photography, highlighted in next year’s Rangefinder wedding issue. Why not? I have the skills and talent to do so. I have awesome clients that look amazing in wedding gowns and pressed tuxedos. This year 2010, I’m gonna rock it. I want to make every wedding I photograph this year blow all the other weddings away. But I need your help, bring your A game, own the camera. The wedding day is yours, make it last.
