Young Professional Network : Kings Speech
February 17, 2012A few days ago I was asked to get ready to give a speech in front of my peers on the Chamber Board to represent the new Young Professional Network. I have to admit, I got a little nervous once I realized who I had to speak to. But then I thought of a movie I recently watched, The King’s Speech. He was a king with a wretched speech impediment and was reluctant to get treatment. Spoiler alert, at the end of the movie he learned how to overcome his issue. So I said, if Colin Firth can do it, so can I.

January 1, 2012Happy New Years to you and your loved ones. How did you celebrate your end of 2011? Me, I got to chat with my parents on skype before the ball dropped in Laos. They are 12 hours a head of me so it was pretty awesome to share 2012 with my parents.

March 13, 2011Happy Anniversary! 7 years, time flies when you’re having fun. I can remember the first night I met you, on the dance floor at Fat Daddies in York. You’re smile is still the same, perfect. Your cooking gets better every day, I don’t know how you come up with all those recipes. Your abilities to find deals still astounds me, I feel like I’m robbing the store when we’re done shopping. You still make me smile everyday. And a big Thank You for sticking with me. I wouldn’t be the self made man that I am today with out a great woman behind me. I love you!
