Dog Photo Contest : DogStar Books

How to Enter

1. Submit your own 5×7 photo to DogStar OR go to http://photole.bookmonline.com/schedules/dogstar to schedule a 15 minute professional photo session for no additional cost! Photos sessions will be taken outside of DogStar Books (529 West Chestnut Street Lancaster, PA 17603).

2. Drop your photo and $25.00 donation to the Humane League to Dogstar Books (529 West Chestnut Street) anytime between now and April 30th.

3. Bring friends and family to vote for their Dogstar during the entire month of May!

4. Winner will be announced June 4th First Friday at Dogstar Books.

Humane League of Lancaster: Staff Photos

One evening I checked my Facebook inbox and this is what I saw.

Hello Ole,
As you may have seen on my Facebook a good friend of mine was killed in a car accident on nye going to work and left behind a fiance and two kids, 3 and 5. He had no life insurance and she was a stay at home mom so needless to say… she is in a really tough spot right now so a few of us are getting together and throwing a benefit for them at Appalachian brewing comp in Harrisburg on February 26th.
I was wondering if you would be interested in donating some type of gift card for your photography or setting up your photo Booth or something to help us raise money…. please don’t feel obligated…. just seeing what I can do. If you have any other ideas let me know

So this is what I’m going to do. I have $50 portrait session gift cards that I will be selling for $25 from now till February 19th. Gift cards will cover portrait session sitting and $50 print credit. Gift cards will be good for one year and you may purchase as many as you like. Lancaster PA Otterbein United Methodist Church‎: Clare House Christmas

I’m not just a Lancaster wedding photographer. This past weekend I had the pleasure to photograph a really nice holiday party for a great organization. It was wonderful to see how many people donated their time to help put everything together. The food, decoration, entertainment and gifts were perfect. You could tell by the children’s smiles that they enjoyed every second of it. Thank you Clare House for putting this together and thank you for letting me be a part of something good.

I would also like to give a special Thank You to my friend Jane Witmer, Lancaster Wax Queen. She did the makeup for some of the mothers.

Lancaster PA El Serrano: Philabundance Mini Sessions

This past Sunday my buddy Mike and I helped raise food for Philabundance, an organization that acquirers food and distributes it to people in need. Our goal was to provide fun mini sessions to families and couples who donate a bag of non-parishable goods. Here are some of the faces that made my day.

Lancaster Humane League: Doggie Xmas Photos

This year was my second year photographing the Doggie Xmas Photos and I must say that I had fun. I’m loving the fact that I’m seeing the same owners come back for more photos of their pets and supporting the Lancaster Humane League at the same time. I’m pretty sure if the animals could talk, they’d say Thank you. Since they can’t, I would like to say thank you for your support.
